Little Nook Deli on North Road in Kirkburton is expanding its offerings beyond breakfast butties and deli sandwiches by launching a new monthly evening supper club called Little Thursdays.
The first event is scheduled for Thursday 17 September, with a focus on charcuterie. Guests can enjoy boards piled with cured meats and cheeses, alongside local products from The Butchers Larder and the Burnt Hill Herb Co.
The menu features autumnal flavours such as house-made bramble chutney, rosemary crackers, Tim Bilton’s pork pies, and Jon Allen’s cold-smoked trout pâté sourced from nearby Farnley Tyas. Freshly sliced bresaola and salami from the deli’s fridge will be served, complemented by focaccia from Denby Bakehouse in Denby Dale.
Little Thursdays will take place twice a month, with six seats available per event split into two sittings. Chef Alice will showcase seasonal dishes, with upcoming themes including a ramen night and a Halloween pumpkin special at the end of October.
Kirkburton’s North Road is becoming a notable food destination, with established venues like The Urban Kitchen, Joys, The Secret Garden, and Michelin Bibbed Norman’s contributing to the vibrant independent food scene.
Little Nook Deli reflects the dedication of a small team bringing quality and local connection to the village’s food culture.
